ABOUT TYRA

Hi, I’m Tyra—a Toronto-based wedding photographer capturing editorial, romantic celebrations across Toronto & Europe.

My journey behind the lens began while living and travelling through Europe, where I fell in love with storytelling through quiet details, natural light, and meaningful connection. Those experiences continue to shape my approach today—creating images that feel effortless, timeless, and deeply personal.

I photograph with intention. I’ll gently guide you during portraits, so you feel confident and relaxed, while allowing the rest of the day to unfold naturally—capturing the in-between moments, the emotion, and the energy as it truly happens. My goal is for your photos to feel elevated yet honest, artful but never forced.

As a 2026 bride myself, I truly understand how meaningful this decision is. Choosing your photographer isn’t just about style—it’s about trust, comfort, and having someone by your side who understands the weight and beauty of the day. I care deeply about creating a calm, supportive presence so you can stay present and enjoy every moment.

Whether at home or across the globe, I’m honoured to document celebrations that feel like you—beautifully, intentionally, and with heart.

Let’s create something unforgettable together.

facts about me…

  • Globetrotter

Travel is what sparked my love for photography. It taught me to slow down, observe, and connect. Italy, Spain, and Indonesia have left the deepest impressions—each offering a sense of beauty and belonging that keeps drawing me back. Italy, especially, has become a place I return to every year with so much anticipation.

  • Dog-obsessed

Dogs have always had my heart—especially rescues. I found my little Lucy, the sweetest little soul from Saint Lucia, through an incredible organization called Helpaws. She’s been the most joyful addition to my life.

  • Pasta-fanatic

My love for Italy goes hand in hand with my love for pasta! I could eat it every single day. Especially if it’s a rich truffle pasta or a perfect amatriciana!

  • rom-com lover

If I’m editing your photos, there’s a good chance I’ve got a rom-com playing in the background. How to Lose a Guy in 10 DaysIt’s ComplicatedBride Wars, and 13 Going on 30 never get old.
