what it feels like to work with me

Inquiry & Connection

From the moment you reach out, I’m big on thoughtful, genuine communication. I take the time to read every inquiry and respond intentionally.

We’ll hop on a call to meet and chat about your day, your vision, and what matters most to you. This isn’t about booking just anyone; it’s about making sure we truly align, both creatively and personality-wise (so important!). I believe the best photos come from a real connection, and that starts long before the wedding day.

Planning & Prep

Once booked, I’m here to support you through the planning process in a way that feels calm and collaborative. I’ll offer guidance on your timeline, help plan portraits around the best light, and share insight from past weddings to make things flow smoothly.

Whether you’re getting married locally or planning a destination celebration, I always leave room for flexibility. The best moments often happen when things aren’t rushed, so I help build in space for your day to unfold naturally.

The Wedding Day

On your wedding day, my goal is to be a steady, calming presence. I’ll gently guide you during portraits so nothing ever feels awkward or overly posed, while allowing the rest of the day to happen as it naturally does.

I’m always tuned into the energy of the room, the timing of the day, and the light as it shifts — knowing when to step in and when to quietly observe. If things start to feel tight or rushed, I’ll advocate for breathing room so you can stay present and actually enjoy the moments you’ve been planning for.

After the Wedding

After your wedding, I thoughtfully curate your gallery to tell the full story of your day. The big moments, the quiet in-betweens, and everything you may not have even noticed happening.

Your images are edited with a timeless, natural approach so they feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today. The end result is a collection that feels true to you, your people, and the way your day genuinely felt.

For the rest of the day, I take a more candid, documentary approach—observing and capturing moments as they naturally unfold. “Ty, I have looked through these photos so many times now, and every single time I’m struck by them all over again. They impress me and fill me with just as much joy as the first time we got to see them.

Your talent is evident in every shot. Your ability to capture every moment on your own is impressive in itself, but to do it so beautifully is something truly special. You didn’t just photograph our wedding, you preserved how it felt. It genuinely feels like we get to relive the day when we go through these photos.

We are so grateful to have had you as our photographer on arguably one of the most special days of our lives. Beyond the breathtaking photos, you brought such a calm, reassuring presence to the day. You made us feel completely comfortable and at ease, which is invaluable on a day filled with so many emotions. You listened to every request, understood every vision, and delivered beyond anything I could have imagined.

You also went as far as to leave a lasting impression on our guests. I still have family and friends tell me how professional, kind, and incredibly talented you were.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your talent, your care, and the love you poured into capturing our day. We will treasure these photos forever.”
